With an estimated 10% of global energy consumption used by pumping systems, Elite Aqua’s aim is to partner with businesses and government authorities looking to reduce the operating costs and improve the sustainability of their pumping systems. Correct pump/equipment selection
When a pump requires replacement, it is often replaced with the exact same (Like for Like) or similar performance unit. This practice may be the easier and quicker short-term option however may result in costing your company tens of thousands of dollars extra over the longer term. Being proactive and having a performance assessment carried out on your pumping system will provide the ability to preselect the most efficient pump and operating system to be installed. Control system selection and piping evaluation
A key consideration when optimising a pumping system is the efficiency of the pipe network and method of control utilised. A poorly designed pipe network which includes under sized pipework, incorrect valve and fitting selection can all amount to a considerable waste of energy, due to the high friction losses accumulated through the network. As process demands increase overtime simply increasing pump capacity and not the pipework can make system efficiency reduce further.
